Broadway Boogie-Woogie and MoMA's Bad Timing

Mondrian, Monet and and Alfred H. Barr, Jr. gallery closure

Piet Mondrian

Broadway Boogie-Woogie

So much Boogie and Woogie in this piece.

Geometry, geometry, geometry

Line says it all

The BIGGEST disappointment and MoMA's worst timing is the closure of The Alfred H. Barr, Jr. Painting and Sculpture Galleries.

Let's see - it's August and August equals tourists who most likely wanted to see the Abstract Expressionists. Not going to happen. MoMA, don't you think you could have waited until after Labor Day to begin? Sure, it take time, but come on!

Sometimes this sign is good and sometimes, like now, it's one of the worst signs to read!
